Release Notes: SEO Audit Template v2 — Now with Automated Priority Scoring
Version 2 of the audit template adds automatic impact/effort scoring based on Google's guidelines and your input data.
I've just released version 2 of the SEO Audit Template, and the biggest change is automated priority scoring. Instead of manually rating each issue as high/medium/low, the template now calculates a score based on Google's documented guidance and the severity you input.
How it works: you enter the issue type (e.g., duplicate title, slow LCP, missing alt text), and the template assigns a base weight. Then you adjust two factors: traffic impact (high/medium/low) and effort to fix (easy/medium/hard). The final score is a simple formula: (impact weight * 2) - effort weight. Issues with a score above 5 get flagged as critical.
Existing customers can download v2 for free from their account. New buyers get it immediately. Future updates will include integration with Search Console API for automatic data pull. Let me know if you run into any bugs — I test extensively but real-world use always finds edge cases.
